We’re Visual Punch. The UK Video Production Company That Fixes How Businesses Communicate.
Most video production companies ask what you want to film.
We ask what you’re trying to achieve.
Then we work backwards from that. What’s the message. Who needs to hear it. What’s going to make them act. And only then does a camera come out.
That’s the difference between a video company and a clarity fix. We’re the latter.

Why Visual Punch Exists
We started because small businesses deserved better.
In 2013, I was a fresh graduate with a first-class degree and no job offers. While I was figuring out my next move, I kept noticing something odd.
Video production was everywhere. Big studios. Big crews. Big budgets. But almost nothing aimed at the businesses that actually make up most of the economy. The family-run firm that’s been trading for 15 years. The consultancy that’s ready to grow. The SME that knows video could help but has no idea where to start.
Nobody was talking to them.
So I did. A few conversations turned into a few projects… and Visual Punch was born.
Thirteen years later, nothing has changed about who we serve. You won’t see a BBC logo on our website. That’s not our world and it was never the point. Our clients are businesses like yours. Established, ambitious, and ready to use video properly.
Because properly is the bit most companies miss.
We’ve watched businesses treat video like a tick box. Commission it once, never revisit it, wonder why nothing changed. We’ve watched sales content get shared as a generic social post and then written off when it didn’t perform. We’ve watched budgets disappear into beautiful content that had no plan behind it.
It’s like jumping out of a plane and trying to build the parachute on the way down.
Strategy first. Always. We work out what you’re trying to say, who needs to hear it, and what you want them to do next… before a camera gets anywhere near the conversation. That’s what makes the content work. That’s what gives you KPIs you can actually measure beyond hoping the phone rings.
That’s why Visual Punch exists. And it’s why we’re still here.
What we believe about video
These aren’t values on a wall. They’re how we make decisions.
Your prospects don't need to be impressed. They need to understand what you do and why they should choose you. Every time clarity and creativity are in tension, clarity wins.
Video that looks stunning but doesn't drive leads is a failure. Video that looks professional and fills your pipeline is a success. We optimise for the latter.
The camera is a tool. Strategy determines whether it's the right tool. We start with outcomes, then work backwards to execution. Always.
We design video systems that create ongoing content. Compounding visibility beats sporadic virality every single time.
We deliver fast without cutting corners. First drafts in 10 to 14 working days. Finals within three weeks.
You know what you're paying before we start. You know what you're getting. Simple.
Who we work with
B2B businesses that sell through trust and expertise.
Our best clients are professional services firms, consultancies, and growing B2B businesses. The kind of businesses where prospects need to believe in you before they buy. Where reputation matters. Where a bad video does more damage than no video at all.
What they have in common is this. They’ve got something genuinely worth saying. They just aren’t saying it clearly enough, consistently enough, or on camera at all.
The businesses we work with:
- Are tired of being invisible while competitors pull ahead
- Know their services are better than their marketing suggests
- Need to explain complex offerings in a way that actually lands
- Want to build authority and trust before the first sales conversation
- Are ready to invest in content that works over time
- Value speed and reliability over rock bottom pricing
The businesses we don’t work with:
- Want the cheapest option regardless of quality or strategy
- Aren’t willing to invest any time in planning or preparation
- Need everything turned around in days with no brief
- Don’t value strategy and just want someone to press record
- Won’t actually use the content once we’ve created it
We’re selective because selectivity protects both sides. We want to work with businesses where we can make a real difference. If that’s not a fit, we’ll say so and point you in the right direction.
THE TEAM
Built lean. Runs well.

James Ibbitson
Started Visual Punch in 2013 after spotting a gap nobody was filling. Businesses of every size were being served by big studios with big overheads and not much interest in whether the content actually worked.
Twelve years later, that's still the focus. James handles strategy, client relationships, filming and the overall direction of every project. He's filmed in boardrooms and factories, conference centres and coffee shops, across the UK.
One thing drives everything: making video work for the businesses that invest in it.

Victoria De Wet
The reason projects run on time, clients get what they were promised, and nothing falls through the cracks. Victoria keeps Visual Punch organised, responsive, and easy to work with.

Our Wider Network
For larger projects we bring in a trusted network of specialists. Editors, drone operators, animators, sound engineers and production assistants. You get the full team when the project needs it without the overhead inflating your costs.
How we work with clients
What makes us different from other video production companies.
We think like business owners We understand that video is a means to an end. We care about your pipeline, your positioning, and your growth — not just our creative output.
This shapes every decision we make, from what we recommend filming to how we structure a message.
We’re honest about what you actually need If a simpler approach will do the job, we’ll tell you. If you don’t need the expensive option, we won’t sell it.
Most of our clients say the strategy conversation at the start changed what they actually created. That conversation is free. It saves businesses thousands.
We make being on camera feel normal Almost everyone we work with is nervous before the shoot. Almost nobody is nervous by the end of it.
We coach, direct, and guide you through everything. You bring your expertise. We handle the rest.
We deliver on time First drafts in 10 to 14 working days. Finals within three weeks. If you need it faster, ask us.
In an industry with a reputation for missed deadlines and slow turnarounds, we take this seriously.
We price transparently You know what it costs before we start. No discovery calls that end in mystery quotes. No invoices with extras you didn’t expect.
What happens when video is done properly
These are real outcomes from real clients.
Shorter sales cycles When prospects have watched your videos before the first call, they already understand your value. They arrive pre-sold.
Clients using testimonial video and authority content consistently report sales conversations that are faster, easier, and less price-sensitive.
More inbound enquiries Professional, strategic video on your website and LinkedIn signals credibility. Credibility generates inbound interest.
Clients on monthly retainers typically see a measurable lift in profile views and inbound messages within the first 60 to 90 days.
Content that keeps working A well-produced brand or testimonial video doesn’t stop performing after a week. It lives on your website, in your proposals, in your LinkedIn profile, and in your sales conversations.
One shoot. Content working for months.
Better quality conversations Video pre-qualifies prospects. People who reach out after watching your content already understand what you do and how you work.
Fewer tyre kickers. More serious buyers who are ready to move.
